The Canadian Club movement had its origin among a small group of men in Hamilton ON in 1892. They wanted to be more active and better informed Canadians. They hoped to stimulate a sense of pride in being Canadian. The idea spread across Canada. Clubs still flourish today despite so many competing activities and interests. The Morrsiburg and District Club first met in Oct 1925 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025.
